Wellspring – Body
Looking after your Physical Health
The human body is amazing. How our bodies function every second of every day is simply awe inspiring. Many of us may not always appreciate this gift. We may not think enough about how to nurture and celebrate our physical being.
We live in a busy world with ever more distractions and an increasingly sedentary lifestyle. To be at our best our bodies need to be fed nutritiously, to be used effectively and to be rested properly.
We have been created to move and to be active.
Just take some time to be in touch with your body, to be conscious for instance, of your breathing or where your muscles are tight and where you are stressed or uncomfortable. This awareness may come easily to you, or you may want to use mindfulness or meditation to further connect with your body.
Wellspring values the importance of supporting you to care for and treasure your body. Looking after yourself physically comes hand in hand with caring for your mental and spiritual wellbeing and we are here to support you in that journey.
